The world is changing every day. We are witnessing national and world events that directly and indirectly impact how we live. Our communities are affected by natural disasters, shortages in the food and product supply chains, the on-going health crisis, and other tragedies that command innovative and creative solutions.

The human spirit pursues answers to these difficult challenges and seeks to resolve these issues, which include advancements in technology and science, social equity, and access to education and training. The pursuit of building a better society requires that we prepare our youth and their families for the careers that are needed to embrace this era of emerging technology.

The revamped LNESC website boasts an expansion of educational resources, new communication tools, improved social media channels, and improved access to scholarship opportunities. LNESC remains dedicated to providing quality programs, which bring safe and equitable learning environments for the underserved population in our country.

LNESC is committed to empowering our communities through quality educational and leadership programs. We see a promising future through the enrichment of young minds, and investing in the development of our future leaders. We are grateful to have committed partners that help us build on our foundation of 48 years in delivering quality educational and leadership programming.

There are currently 16 LNESC Centers across the nation; in addition, we serve aspiring students and their families across the entire nation. Through our national programs and education centers, we have served over 607,000 students as of 1973. In partnership with community and corporate organizations, we have awarded nearly $30 million in scholarships. These figures provide limited view of the resounding student success, as they do not tell the stories of how education and experience uplift the lives of our students, or how these programs open opportunities for personal or professional growth.

The LNESC website presents testimonials in the form of pictures, videos, anecdotes, and survey data. The testimonials indicate how we are improving the lives of students and their families. Although we are grateful to hear and present these stories, we also recognize that we have more work to do. Together, we can continue to help students realize their dreams through education.

Sincerely,

Richard Roybal
